With this particular model, you can actually make this one can be fitted with sensors that respond to light, touch, or sound. Fortunately enough, the interface is ridiculously easy and gives everything that parents and children that they need to step up and jump right into it without much of a hitch! Of course, this is a pretty big thing, especially once you consider the fact that this thing is generally something that’s a little intimidating.

It has historically been extremely tough for companies to come out with toy robots that kids want. While there assuredly have been a lot of people who have been interested, and have received robots in the past, they generally have come with some pretty rough reviews. Fortunately enough, this isn’t the case with any of the Mindstorms. They have all been very well received, and this one is included. For example, one parent said that they really like the fact that the interface was clean and easy, specifically allowing for people who aren’t completely literate when it comes to computers.

Adversely, there were some people who didn’t feel as if it lived up to the limitations that they anticipated. For example, one person said that while it was a pretty cool toy, they thought it would be something more intensive that they could get their young son into. They felt as if it wasn’t as much of a programming tool that would get their son into their craft, and a few other people felt as if that was pretty apt.

So, in summation, it really seems as if it’s a nice toy, but if you’re looking for something very extensive, this may not exactly be the best possible product — especially if you’re a person who has been into programming for quite some time.
